INNOVATIVE FEATURES
The vision for the AUTOPSY project is to develop an innovative, reliable and high-tech autonomous robotic ispection system consisting of a collaborative swarm of UAVs with the aim of autonomous surveillance of large-scale power plants and infrastructure. AUTOPSY is designed to offer generalized inspection services in multiple applications by locating, preventing and informing the relevant bodies about numerous incidents. This will be accomplished by integrating AUTOPSY’s innovative solution into multiple energy management and production organizations to deliver specific innovation elements:
- Development of an intelligent system for automatic recognition of infrastructure damages as well as identification of inappropriate human activity
- Development of an innovative system of coordinated control and navigation of MEAs on semantic maps
- Development of an innovative system of coordinated control and navigation of MEAs on semantic maps
- Development of an adaptive hierarchy and fault notification system in the system control center
AUTOPSY project has been co-financed by the European Regional Development Fund of the European Union and Greek national funds through the Operational Program Competitiveness, Entrepreneurship and Innovation, under the call RESEARCH – CREATE – INNOVATE
The project stared on July 2020 and will be completed on January 2023T
The scientific responsible and coordinator of the project is Dr. Dimitrios Tzovaras form CERTH-ITI
