First test flight of TWI’s AUTOPSY UAV on 21/10/2021.

In the first test flight of TWI’s AUTOPSY UAV, three tests were conducted in a confined space to test the flight modes of the UAVs. In this flight the sensory instruments were not mounted on the UAV for safety reasons.

In the first test, the UAV was in Stabilize mode, hovered for a few minutes at a height of 2-3 meters and landed smoothly. In the second test, the mode was AltHold. The UAV hovered for a few minutes at a height of 3-4 metres and landed smoothly. In the third test, the UAV took off in AltHold, hovered for a short time at a height of about 2.5 meters and then landed using RTL mode.
